The Heavy Stuff

Hello, welcome back to The Heavy Stuff (THS) - thanks for hitting the link or favorited bookmark (and, also, to my 40 or so subscribers too). Today’s post is a little off the beaten path compared to the `normal’ (lol) posting on this blog (normal around here are speculations about consciousness, the afterlife, ufo’s and such - and, indeed I’m working on at least two posts right now) - as this post  covers what I am now calling `Heavy News’ on my Squidoo `AnomalyMan Listing’ webpage. And, a quick read of the title of this post gives you an idea about `my spin’ on some recent events/things.

Actually, if you are a fan of THS - you remember that last fall - during the peak of the teetering of the financial system - THS on three occasions took to calling a spade a spade. Never before did this blog get so many `general population’ type readers via Goggle users looking up the term `economic collapse’ - literally, thousands. And, while this post will skirt about the edges of the Economic Collapse issue - recent events have brought to focus just how manipulative the media has been in any number of ways (nothing new of course).

But, before I talk politics and the media’s political spin - since this is generally a non-political blog -  I want to share that I have NEVER ONCE voted for a democrat or republican for President since 1976 - voting each time for the Libertarian candidate as the least objectionable choice (confession - living near Atlanta I met, shook hands and talked for a minute privately with Bob Barr - months before he ran for President) - yes, correct, I really don’t like the Libertarians all that much anymore - especially with the Presidential contest they just ran. So, perhaps that amounts to a view of pure skepticism in many folks eyes. So be it.  Then, throw into that, the media’s simpleton approach to any issue - and you have my general view in a nutshell.

So; let me provide examples of `Howard Beale-ism’ that are seemingly screaming out to a totally deaf - but also confused at times - big time TV media.For those who don’t know who Howard Beale is/was ………… you are probably under 45, and, probably think you are a democrat (I normally call democrats - democraps. Don’t smirk republicans; I call them republinuts. How can anyone have respect for political partys represented by a Jackass and Bloated Elephant?) Indeed, please look his `name’ up on Wikipedia - but, knowing you, a democrap, you probably won’t - so - in abbreviated USA Today style, —-  Howard, a fictional newsreader, represented the `Fed-Up Citizen’ in a 1970’s movie - where in his most famous scene,  he opens a window and shouts out to the public “I’m Mad As Hell, And, I’m Not Going To Take It Anymore”. (And, then, others began the scream too.)

And, indeed, the mid 70’s were an infuriating period in America; - having most folks thinking, for the first time really, that `the government lies about things to promote an agenda’ (regardless of `party’). Additionally, our society had just scooted out of a war and had a press taking on a lying President (after his VP took bribes and resigned) followed by an Unelected President (Ford). So, the funny thing, is that `Howard’ was screaming in an era where the Press actually stood up and perhaps stood for something. Now, the press doesn’t even recognize Howard.

But, this is the 2000’s. Now, we have a greatly weakened Newspaper industry in shambles in what is becoming the worst downturn and financial crisis since the 1930’s. Indeed, in the old days of yesteryear, we `the citizens’ could at least hope that the muckrakers of the day would have dug up the coming AIG fiasco - or talked more of `real estate anomalies’ (or credit default swaps) - instead of pumping the bubble by having a blind eye to an impossible to sustain market condition. Or, perhaps challenge our lawmakers to at least put the Iraq war `on the budget’ instead of off-budget. Don’t you think?

Or, did they - do they -  think `they’ are no longer entitled to the truth by the government - and certainly the citizens aren’t entitled to it.

But, NO. We had and have the weakest, lamest, wimpiest version of muckrakers ever seen in the profession. (This includes the big Internet sites too.) What we have are TV news (give that story 15 seconds) and Newspaper weaklings  that bow to political correctness and have zero backbone or ideals. And, one that seems INCAPABLE of understanding,  or depicting, dissent in this country. And, obviously, our recent nationwide protests bring that to mind. (Protests you say?)

This bubbling up of the Howard Beale (HB) sentiment began brewing last year with the run for President by Ron Paul - and - also the run for President by Mike Huckabee who `stood alone’ for the Fair Tax. Both candidates and their `unique ideas’ were scoffed at and treated as if they had coodies. This despite the relative successes of both campaigns overall. But, by the time the candidate field was whittled down to one on each side - those folks/citizens who were identified with Paul or the Fair Tax - (the Howard Beale’s) - were largely marginalized.

Then, last fall, the crappola that Ron Paul had been talking about - the very weakness of the financial system - which the media ignored when he said the words ———— was suddenly coming true. The Federal Reserve and the Treasury -`they said’ - suddenly needed to `save’ the very system our politicians had built. If not, dear citizen,  Great Depression Two was promised as a possibility. I guess we all were expected to just be quiet and let the powerful `save us’. How very nice of them!

Instead, after trillions was given to the very big businesses that had caused the bubble and crash, we have instead ———- The Great Recession of the 2000’s. Indeed, I want you to look at this interactive link from Slate.Com — I’VE NEVER SEEN A LINK SAY IT ALL LIKE THIS ABOUT THE ECONOMY. http://slate.com/id/2216238/   This link visually depicts the FACTS about NOW — not rhetoric about `hope for the future’. (That said, if the dollar doesn’t implode - the trillions should buy some measure of slowing the decline.) Please see this link - then - send it to as many folks as you can - I’ve never asked my readers to do so before - this link is that important for understanding `where’ the country lies in this `recovery’.

Indeed, what  `hope’ can be found in `slowing the decline/crash’. Is this just delaying a Depression like scenario? Is not the visual shown by this map on the above link the most frightening you have ever seen?

Indeed, the media, concerning the economic situation is torn between promoting — things will never be the same (February’s positioning) — and - things can be the same again (March’s positioning). (While pushing the Tent city stories off the screen - or - the recent story on condo’s in Miami (video on CNBC) that once were $700,000 going for $130,000.) And, while wealth destruction is rampant and all around everyone - the media `rounds up the wagon train’ around `action’ from our `democrap’ lawmakers - quote - holding them accountable for `doing something’. (Isn’t this like closing the barn door………?)

So, what is `The Cost’ for allowing lawmakers who ruined a system to fix it? Trillions and trillions. And trillions. (Along with getting the government itself into the banking system and thereby - everyone’s life.) And, unbelievably, it might still - NOT even be `fixed’. —- But, we, the citizens are expected to be quiet (oh, by the way, eventually Ron Paul’s supporters ended up on Government lists of folks to `watch’).

As the Russians and Chinese - suggest a new - world currency. And, still, the people/sheeple are expected to be quiet.

And, with that as a backdrop — someone woke Howard Beale up again.

This time, his name was Rick Santelli - who used the idea of another `Tea Party’ being necessary to wake up the government and the politicians. Unless you were asleep for a of couple days, parts of his `rant’ - of his anger - were allowed to make the TV screen. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bEZB4taSEoA And, regardless of his words, it was his emotion - the real anger - authentic anger at the system - that was the news.But, somehow, our blind, weak media missed the significance of it. After all, the sheeple need to be quiet and stop their bah-bah(ing).

NO, our media has been involved in promoting the chance that our new President may actually figure a way out of the mess without pain to anyone. Now, I’ll grant you in a second that President Obama is impressive in his speech and thought process. And, if anyone can figure out a way out - it is probably him. That said, there may be no way out - or - the way out - would be better in some direction other than that promoted by the democraps.

But, that wouldn’t be PC.

But, there is no other way - not in a country with just `two’ views on things - democrap and republinut. Think about it this way - if 1/3 or so of citizens identify themselves as independents (read, hate each party) and if say 3% are really Libertarians - when was the last time you heard a Libertarian on TV or a viewpoint not suggested by a demo or repo – is it one out of every 33 times a politician is on TV? Of course not - to the big media & mainstream newspapers and such — one almost never hears the `ideas’ of the fringe. Or, those that disagree with the system. (To them, the talking head media, fringe ideas get absorbed by the two parties over time.)

So, when suddenly, on April 13th - when the media realized that common citizens would soon be seeing `TEA Protests’ often in their hometown or in front of the IRS - (or White House - or State Capital) - they had to `scramble’ to catch up on the story. (To someone, like me, reporting real news via the internet, I had the link to this April 6th on my Squidoo page.) You would have thought this was all happening spontaneously. (The media talking heads were like — what’s this Tea Tax party all about - we just gave the sheeple a tax cut last week?)

Suddenly, they, the big media,  had to put a `face’ onto these TEA Protesters. Conveniently, to the mainstream sheeple PC press, this meant - they - those protesters -  must be `fringe’ conservatives. Or, at least they told us that. They `wondered’ how many would really show-up? Or, at least they told us that. Even the power-brokers on `the right’ missed that this was Howard Beale in the streets — not `people from the right’.

So, thruout the country, in towns large and small - with crowds that were both LARGE and small - citizens gathered last week to say - “I’m mad as hell and I’m NOT ……” — But, the media didn’t hear that.

NO, the big media has an interest to minimize the sheeple anger - to marginalize it. No credibility is given to the fact that the Tea Party was nationwide, in towns of all sizes, by folks of all ages,  - or - that it was also a protest against current policies in general.

A Howard Beale feeling that is tired of being ignored by the PC press and media. Indeed, could it have been the ignoring of the HB (Howard Beale) movement - that lead to the `floating’ of the idea of state secession again? Is there any feeling strong enough to get the mainstream media’s attention? Is secession it? — And, yesterday - Ron Paul said this about `state’ secession - http://www.tenthamendmentcenter.com/2009/04/20/ron-paul-thoughts-on-secession/ - it’s a four minute video.

Some folks may remember that last fall a report - years old - by a USSR man - suggested that the USA may break apart into six areas or country’s. If you look at the first Slate link - and see that Texas is in a different situation than most of America - one can see how certain states may want a new union. States that were less involved in the Federal Fraud. Would the media even be willing to entertain such ideas? Not this media.

After all, this is a media that YESTERDAY again - ignored nationwide protests —- of the nations marijuana laws. Protests that have been going on at an organized level for decades. By, folks tired of being told that Micheal Phelps is a loser for toking when thousands die of alcohol overdoses yearly. Think I’m kidding? Check this out - http://www.coloradodaily.com/news/2009/apr/20/420-cu-colorado-boulder-marijuana-pot-smoke-out/ - and, I assure you that supporters of hemp and medical marijuana were NOT happy with the way President Obama brushed off the pot question at his recent internet town hall meeting. But, then again, when you have a media that ISN’T OUTRAGED that tens of thousands are in jail for pot while in other states Judges order the police to return 12 pounds of pot to another citizen based on doctors orders (don’t believe me - see this - http://www.nbcbayarea.com/news/local/Dude-Wheres-My-Pot.html). And, not one state has that has had reform - was led by the politicians - most were led by citizen initiatives. Worthless politicians and media, again. Millions upon millions waiting decades for the politicians to do the right thing - or - for the media to point it out.

Finally, we have President Obama yesterday asking his cabinet members to save 100 MILLION budget dollars - while the government ran up a deficit of over 120 BILLION in one month alone. And, yet, the media can’t hear Howard Beale yelling - screaming - begging - for them to do their job. But, who has time for that when Miss USA gave a `controversial answer’ to the gay marriage question (they forgot that it is the same as Obama’s) and no one is interested why 70% of Somalians support the pirates. Could there be two sides? OMG. http://www.infowars.com/you-are-being-lied-to-about-pirates/ Or, cover the fact of an astronaut again saying the government is covering up about the alien presence on Earth - spinning it - without ever covering the `deceivers’ - satisfied with another `brush off statement’ by NASA. (You mean the media lets the government lie about pot, aliens, immigrants, big money and more — quiet sheeple.)

Indeed, the big media hopes they can `entertain’ you with `murder mysteries’ (like the craiglist case) and such nonsense; hoping to lull the sheeple — hoping that Howard Beale goes back into the film canister and doesn’t rear his ugly head - or voice - again.

Hello, welcome back to The Heavy Stuff  (THS) - I appreciate you hitting the link. As you may know, in the last 10 days or so, a `video’ of the 2006 O’Hare Ufo Incident made it’s way to YouTube along with a fairly detailed `explanation’ of the person who summited it. (All relevant links will be at the bottom of this post.) Then, within days, that person was contacted by another person who claimed to also `film’ the unexplained event that was in the process of occurring.

Perhaps it would be better to say that the `event’ was caught from two different angles  — but - both - taken with 2006 cellphone technology, or earlier. Indeed, both of the 50 or so second videos are so `primitive’ looking as to almost be funny to be the one thing presented to `prove’ the event occurred. That said,  both of the videos  offer some minimal detail and realness - including the take-off of a plane in the beginning frames of the one video. The `new video’ is taken from a completely different location further from the `event’ (the first original video is taken from a very severe angle underneath the craft).

And, as one might expect, immediately - naysayers appeared to refute the `video’ and, somewhat, the `story’ - but, what was surprising is that the first `take’ was given by a `ufo’ writer ——— not some skeptic crew. Indeed, the title of his article was `Hoaxers Are Getting Bored’ - and he based his view on ——— that of another person. (Which I found a little strange.) But, that person was - indeed - an `expert’ on the affair 2006 event having been part of the investigation by  National Aviation Reporting Center on Anomalous Phenomena - which produced a `negative’ report on the event in 2007.  And, that was not the only `expert’ who offered a negative take - the other is from the MUFON representative from Illinois.

But, perhaps we need to back up - and - shake our memories a little harder before the `videos’ are declared  fakes and the event - once again - pushed under the rug. So, in that regard — who remembers that when this `event’ surfaced that the CNN man was interviewing an airport worker cloaked in silhouette with voice distortion? I mean, how long before OR after has it been that you have seen a major news organization allow a person on-camera with such a story IN SILHOUETTE? This was the very definition of a hot story.

Perhaps some folks took the `event’ for what it was - extremely anomalous and very potentially a national security threat. After all, as I’ve made clear with long detailed points in my other posts, IF REAL, the `event’ was either a protocol of disclosure by a set of aliens; OR, a `blackmail threat’ by a superior group of humans not connected with a government organization. Very Very serious subject matter. (Even worse perhaps than connected to a government organization.)

So, is the YouTube poster - to be dissed for waiting? I don’t think so!

So, is the YouTube poster - to be dissed for not disclosing who they are now? I don’t think so! After all, to have the `angle’ presented - so underneath the `craft’ - could only mean - to me - that the person WAS ON THE AIRPORT GROUNDS OUTSIDE - ie: an airport employee - the very type of person said to have first reported the incident.

The next dismissal of the story - that the size was not congruent with previous `estimates’ of the craft (the YouTube poster said it was 100 meters) — he also said the craft was `closer-lower’ than - again - prior `estimates’ (which would make the craft appear larger). Indeed, lots of the criticism seems based on the `overcast’ and 1,700-1,900 ft cloud base level - and that the craft was described as `just below the cloudbase’.

But, do the naysayers as quickly forget that at least two different `sizes’ were given in all the initial reports too - one saying 30 ft or so and another saying 7 feet. Is it so hard to imagine that the `craft-event’ went up and down during the sighting - seeing how it `shot’ up thru the cloudbank to end the event (leaving a hole in the clouds).  What if the height `varied’ somewhat and the `real size’ of the `craft-event’ was 65 feet and the height level 1,350 feet — are we really gonna diss this whole thing based on a size estimate and height estimate (the YouTube poster put the craft at 700 ft, not the 1,700 of the initial report - which of course had no evidence.)?

Or, how about the outrageous suggestion that the craft was BOTH sizes - based on a cloaking manner - or ability to project into ones consciousness. Or that eye-witnesses seldom agree completely.

But, another thing also struck me. The `evidence’ that has literally trickled out prior to the latest - was not one or two photos; but, four or five pictures (see those in the links below) – which again - at the time, were quickly dissed. But, one thing ——————- those  photos support this NEW INFORMATION.

Indeed, if you check my links below you will see a `much bluer sky’ in one of the photos - and in some of the other ones - the photo seems to show the UFO in indeed a lower altitude than the 1,700 feet estimate. Memories can be short when the information was conflicting even at the time - but - now - with new information - perhaps more is beginning to really take shape.

Indeed, if you look at all the pieces and use some thoughtful mindfulness, and DON’T think hoax `first’ — than perhaps the information we have DOES make sense - regardless of reports and investigations.

Because, to me, IMHO - I think it looks like a `large object’ - of which I’d be hesitant to speculate based on the photo’s and videos - but, does look to be (truely guessing) to be up to 100 ft across - and at a lower altitude than 1,200 feet. Additionally, both video’s show a rotating disk, like some of the initial reports and at least one person of this new batch of info confirms the `shooting into the sky aspect’ of the final moments of the event.

So, that is how I see it. A little different than most perhaps - but - does anyone else provide you the very links of the evidence. But, then again, in this day and age - does the evidence even matter - when anything can be faked?

Recently, I’ve been recoding the 83 posts I’ve made to The Heavy Stuff THS) - only about the first 25 posts or so to go. What that coding has done is make the `categories’ area of this website much more interesting as I have covered a vast array of `heavy ideas’ since this websites beginning in late 2006. Indeed, it’s been quite a fun ride to present speculations about reality to an increasing readership that has grown from under 500 unique visitors in 2006 to 74,000 in 2007 to over 195,000 in 2008.

It’s probable that some of that increase of readership (which in the latest complete.com stats shows that each visitor stays six minutes) - has been do to the choices for various titles of THS’s posts. I mean, don’t you want to read `The Missing Space Of Missing Time Incidents’ ? (Found right here http://theheavystuff.com/?p=25). Sure you do. LOL.

But, what I found really compelling were my posts which `asked’ questions - so - if you will indulge me (it is moments from the weekend) - I’d like to re-ask those questions once again for your purusol. I will also provide just a few smidgens of the post itself as a tease.

Hello, welcome back to The Heavy Stuff (THS) - the one blog on the net dedicated to speculating (with thought exercises) about the mysteries of reality - and, today’s post - Life After Death - one of the ultimate mysteries. You can also see from the title the other issue; if the government actually stumbled upon the `answer’ - would they feel any obligation to share that info with the peons of society. After all, it is often said that the very reason the government has been so resistant to confirming the existence of `aliens’ within the Earth’s biosphere - is the fear of total society collapse (supposedly supported by some study decades ago).

Actually, this is just one of several `disclosure’ type issues THS has blogged about before: as we have covered Ufo Disclosure, Asteroid Impact Disclosure and now - Life After Death (LAD) Disclosure. After-all, what would be the potential downside to LAD disclosure? (Probably more important to a world government would be `what would be the UPSIDE’?)

Certainly, the downside is more than `disappointment’ in the Atheist and Agnostic camps - right? (Even if in some countries this represents a significant part of the population.) After all, THS doesn’t think the atheist or agnostic camps are saying `no life after death’ - they are just claiming that there isn’t a God or that if there is - who cares or could really know.

Or, does disclosure depend on `how much’ may be able to be found out about `the afterlife’? After all, if what is discovered is that LAD is just a temporary `going on’ (subjectively brief, say minutes or hours) - or - a `going on’ that isn’t generally in contact with the reality of our living now - would THAT even be `worth revealing’?  Would the religions of the world rejoice, or recoil, upon the revealing of what the afterlife would be like if it was minimal?

Or, would the religions of the world need to `re-group’ with a new emphasis?

However, what if `the authorities’ discovered that the `afterlife’ was incredibly GREAT - free of pain, debt and remorse - and abundant in freedom, bonding and pleasure? (And with no governments…..lol). Would the authorities worry about `nutcases’ doing the unthinkable - knowing that the consequences are none or minimal? Or would governments worry about a lethargy settling into the populace - or - worse yet - a lack of respect for `higher authorities’?

Likewise — what if `the authorities’ knew that there was a HELL? Or that it, the afterlife,  was `mostly like hell’? What then? Can you think of one reason to make sure that the information is available to the general public? ——– Why be good if in the afterlife the devil wins when it comes to `judging humans’?

Or, even worse. What if `the authorities’ - found out - for sure - that there was NO AFTERLIFE - at least none with personal intentionality’s? None, zilch, nada. (Beyond a few flickers of `light’ at the outset?) ———- Certainly, `they’ wouldn’t `destroy’ any of the Great Religions to reveal that info - would they? And, again, just like the afterlife with nothing but wonder and enjoyment - then, with NOTHING being the afterlife - it would again do little to discourage poor `citizen’ behaviour in the here and now. Governments have `bigger roles’.

Then again, if `the authorities’ confirmed - just the basis of the idea `we know the spirit goes on’ — without any details (they can just say they don’t know the eventual outcome of the afterlife) - the result could be interesting - and possibly be of help to society. The idea of a `possible’ to `likely judgement’ - could temper much violence — even at a nation level. (Especially if the `leaders’ knew that their personal outcome was affected.) Could encourage the golden rule. Could convince skeptics of the value of human consciousness and even encourage compassion between strangers.

But, are those positives a chance that `leaders’ would take - when the negatives above seem so real too? Is the human condition too fragile to really know such information? Would some of the mystery of life be zapped by such knowledge?

Hello - Welcome back to The Heavy Stuff (THS) - thanks for visiting or hitting the link - and thanks for letting THS into your brain again today. Well, unless you have been hiding underground counting your canned goods  for the economic collapse, (not a bad idea perhaps) - you have been `entertained’ by the latest from the `more than gossip’ world of `media news’. Of course, THS refers to the `admission’ by ALLTIME Olympic Champion Mr. Phelps to inhaling the dried flowers of the plant cannabis sativa. (As if the octoplet story wasn’t entertaining enough?)

Evidently, it’s beyond the imagination of the media that; a person of excellent abilities, would be `using’ a plant - just as it has been used by humans on Earth for - literally - 1000’s of years — and - just as it has been used by tens of millions of Americans for decades - pipe hit for pipe hit, bong for bong, joint for joint, tons and tons and tons each month - for decades - somehow; somehow, THAT  is NEWS. Big news.

Somehow, evidently, smoking pot is big news.  (Would brownies have caused such a stir?) Somehow, evidently, smoking pot is news worthy of  shooooing the little kids out of the living room for fear of pollution to their little brains? Somehow, that `News’ is able to bring a `producers directed ‘ frown to the straight newsreaders face (good she took those acting lessons in college); that we all have to endure. (Why do the newsreaders always seem mindless?)

Nevermind, that this link points to dozens and dozens of `the famous’ , including many athletes, who have had close encounters of the `altered state’  that the dried leaf may bring http://www.popcrunch.com/busted-100-celebrities-arrested-for-drug-possession/, that in 12 states - thru citizen initiatives only (not led by one single incumbent politician - a NEWS fact that someday may dawn on the media who claims to represent the normal man) - that citizens have already made access to the flowers of the dried plant - a matter between the patient’s doctor and the patient. Nevermind that this means over 70 million Americans have quasi-legal access to the same dried flowers - while others - without a prescription  (like M. Phelps) - are tossed into the slammer - ahhhh the land of the free - to pursue life, liberty and happiness (filling the pockets of lawyers and jail budgets and `outreach programs’ and `judges’ and probably the politicians - to keep the `system’ up and running).

Nevermind that the media never focuses on the real issues like these about the dried flower that is so much in demand. Somehow, evidently, it is a moral issue to the straight media to use it without a prescription. Evidently.

No, to the big media - this smoking of marijuana flowers is BIG news. HUGE news. So, THS  asks - how is it big news? I ask this in all seriousness - just as that poor reporter who asked Obama about alien disclosure (see our latest on this at  http://ufodisclosurecountdownclock.blogspot.com/2009/02/ufo-disclosure-countdown-clock-current.html).

So, again, THS asks - Did the dried leaves give M. Phelps some competitive advantage - (perhaps a mental advantage)? Now, that would be NEWS. But, it doesn’t seem that the media is saying that - does it? (Even though a search of google turned up articles of marijuana use indeed being an advantage.)

So, is it BIG news because M.Phelps is the ONLY athlete using the dried flower in question on a recreational basis? IF that is what the media is saying — perhaps they should say that it isn’t common? But, it doesn’t seem that the media is saying that - either.Could it be that the emperor wears no clothes? (A famous book title among those hemp lovers the media would say.) Could it be that the media’s own common sense - wears no clothes? YES, THS is going to implicate the media in all this hubbub.

Could this be a case of needing to follow the money - again - as the normal citizen always needs to do to discover the truth of certain things?Let’s see;  - who would profit from keeping `another alternative’ to normal consciousness from being legal - in other words - keeping alcohol as the only legal choice?  Now, keep thinking as this is a toughy - right? Do you think you know the answer?

My GOD, would it be the beer and liquor companies -  who are absolutely amoung the leaders in giving money thru lobbyists to our politicians  —  AND — leaders in buying advertising on the media?

Could the media have CONFLICTS that make their opinion about the dried flowers meaningless? Could the politicians have CONFLICTS that make their lack of action on this issue SUSPECT?

Surely, you aren’t a believer in conspiracies are you?

Don’t you find it strange that NOT ONE athlete, NOT ONE politician, NOT ONE celebrity — has EVER said - when confronted about using the dried flower of the marijuana plant — excuse me  — “I have the right to my own body - to put into it what I wish - to experience particular internal mind states that include more than just being sober or drunk - I inherently believe that I own MY body” ———- when caught using the dried flowers? THS finds it strange. (Since pot is not processed, like drugs, THS is reluctant to call the dried flowers that - the D word.)

And, why has that NEVER happened? Because some things are beyond talking about in America the land of free speech- pot use - experiencing altered states of consciousness - ufo sightings - (mixed race marriages, doing homosexual acts, etc.) - at least on the big media level. At least if you are `covered’ by the big media.

Frankly, THS was very disappointed in Mr Phelps `admission’ and that he didn’t stand up for his `rights’ - his `human’ rights - to determine his inner minds condition (as a good libertarian, with a small l — with the caveat that he isn’t harming others). Or, to say — “folks, you caught me before with the hard drug - liquor — I’ve changed to a softer way of interacting with the body and mind — these dried flowers of the cannabis plant.”

THAT would have showed courage. That would have showed honesty. That would have showed strength and conviction.

And, one only has to wonder how the media would react to truth, and honesty - perhaps, most likely, the same way as when Edgar Mitchell spilled the beans and said words no astronaut is supposed to say last year?  Indeed.

Who is our media - this nearly worthless collection of mouthpieces for the power players in society to call the shots?

But, unfortunately, he didn’t show strength. He cow-towed to the media. He cow-towed to the millions of greenbacks he wants in his back pocket. He cow-towed to the truth. And, he knows it. He didn’t have the guts to say that champions can desire an expanded mindset to normal - and - that all drug usage is not `evil’ - and - that some may prefer the handgrown dried leaf to industrial fermented products. Is it such a crime to not favor industrial fermented products?

Why is it you only read comments like thaton the internet - and never hear the spoken same words on TV? Is THS that radical?

Could it be the MONEY? You bet.

Could it be the value of distraction as to how bad the politicians and big business have made the economic condition of this country (all with the rah - rah of the big media during the heyday)? You bet.

Could it be one more example of the big media determining `what is right to talk about and what is not politically correct’? You Bet. (Ask Huckabee if the Fair Tax got any real hearing. Ask the Ufo Disclosure community. Ask folks who believe in alternative medicine or even alternative energy (until recently)).

And, you remember how the media treated Jerry (moonbeam) Brown - Shirley McClain (sp) — John Lennon — or anyone who embraces something of a different `intelligence discussion level’ than the big media targeting the 12 year olds and tweens.

And, now, we have a big government democrat as President - supported big time - by the big media — heaven help us. Don’t expect meditation programs to replace attention deficit or antidepressant drugs anytime soon. And, certainly, don’t expect change within the hopeless media.

Well, thanks for reading THS’s rant — sometimes that manure and stentch of the media becomes just choking and eye watering. And, really, THS is glad that M. Phelps is NOT a member of the communist party - aren’t you?

As most of our readers know, The Heavy Stuff (THS) also has an active Ufo Blog called Ufo Disclosure Countdown Clock (UDCC) on Blogspot that we post to with some frequency. And, on Dec. 30th, our post at UDCC predicted `Orbs’ to be at the Obama Inauguration - and, as you may know if you follow the `Paranormal’ type of sites that link to such mayhem — indeed, there was an `anomalous event’ that seemed to occur - literally - live - on CNN - a little less than two hours before the `anomalous event’ of the first oath of office being flubbed - literally - live - on CNN. 

Frankly, THS is not sure who first brought the `anomalous event’ to the worlds attention, but, within a day or so, FOX News had `run’ with the CNN video (as of this post - we haven’t seen any CNN story, interestingly). Many many internet sites had already been all over the event, but, the TV aspect of Fox - accelerated the story.

Now, why would Fox even cover what was to that point an internet story? The assumption easiest to make is that `those Tripped Out, Tree Hugging,  Lefties’ who support Obama would be `cooked’ in the embarrassment of the FOX news story. Or, perhaps it was Fox News’s way of putting a little immediate pressure on the administration to be `honest’ or to lead them astray (as of yet, we’ve not heard of anyone at the White House comment about the `anomalous event’, interestingly) with a `bogus Ufo story’. (Remember, these are the folks that bought and brought to the world the fake `alien autopsy’ video.)

And, indeed, immediately, the nay-sayers to the `anomalous event’ (EV) were trotted out — `it was definitely a bird’ `you can see it’s wings flapping on blown up DVD’ - but - equally serious analysis done had the object being 30 ft in diameter, fluxing,  and traveling at 1000’s of miles per hour (this whole event is less than 2 seconds of video recording).

And, with 2 days of the issue under their belt, it was time for the `internet authority’ to speak on the `issue’ - with no less than `political analysts’ who regularly opine `with humor’ on the issues at hand on any given week. Yes, that would be Tommy Christopher and Caleb Howe of AOL’s  (America Online - the internet authority) inept `Political Machine’ `section’ (which they correctly point out in another article that NONE of the stories on AOL were among the top stories with `scoops’ in 2008 - as sited by Politico).

The `tone’ of the article was pathetic, vaguely humorous,  but not surprising. They titled their article (paraphrasing)  `The Top 5 Things The Obama Ufo Might Be’  - with number 5 being a supped up version of  The Ron Paul Blimp (you remember the fondness and respect the media and AOL gave Mr. Paul) - number 4 was that the `ufo’ was Dennis Kucinich (again, so respectful of Dennis’s Ufo experience) - number 3 an Obama Collectible Plate (don’t want to ignore the obvious the humorous writers opine) - number 2 a Port-o-Potty Creature (lots of crappola mingling or something like that) and number 1 - Hillary Was Right- A spacebus full of celestial choirs! (Driven by Bill Richardson).

THS will wait as you pick yourself off the floor from laughing. We mean, what did they do, go to the humor version of google and enter politician and ufo? And, how in the world did UDCC get caught up in this slimy muck? Are we to be honored to be the first UFO website ever linked to in the political section of AOL - or humiliated?

Should we actually expect AOL or their writers to have any depth to them - to actually visit websites like http://aliencasebook.blogspot.com/2008/12/video-ufo-filmed-as-barack-obama.html Aliencasebook.  Or, to read in-depth Ufo analysis by Greg Bishop at UfoMystic.com  or by Joe Capp at http://UfoMedia@blogspot.com? Probably not.

Otherwise, they would probably have to deal with honestly the potentially biggest story of alltime - political or otherwise. The story of possible alien intrusion into our biosphere and the fact that our political leaders probably know many more facts than the `ordinary Ufo Joe’ (since the media likes Plumber Joe perhaps Joe Capp should become Ufo Joe?). But, that probably wouldn’t be very funny or laughable - and, imagine being part of a news organization and missing that story for 60 plus years. Talk about pathetic and humiliating.

So, in THS’s opinion - what was the `anomalous event’? Who knows, but it sure looked mighty fast to have been a bird, and the temperatures would seem to rule out any insects near a camera. And, the `Ufo’ looked like many `fast orb’ type videos anyone can find on the internet - moreso than any incredibly fast bird.

Finally, if it was an `orb’, that hardly makes it an `alien’ or even a ufo craft - as we have speculated here at THS in the past - orbs might be consciousness balls of light that form almost randomly or even in huge crowds with expectations of any kind. Welcome all internet surfers to The Heavy Stuff (THS) the one blog on the internet dedicated to taking positions on realities greatest mysteries - today’s subject - the `on-going’ chemtrail issue. Indeed, while THS has covered this issue twice before (see links at bottom of this post) - today THS posted a link on our squidoo site www.squidoo.com/anomalyman called:

What’s Going On? - The Sky is filled with Chemtrails and No One Looks Up!

The article was written by Chris Holly about a couple experiences trying to get `normal’ folk to look up in the skies and see the contrails overhead. Ultimately, she finds almost no one is willing to even glance upward - and the only ones responding to pleas to look up and guess what the contrails were - were an old couple who basically said `don’t worry about it’.It was hard to read Chris’s words and not think of the Invasion Of The Body Snatchers movies. Chris makes a strong case that society seems to be slipping into an unconsciousness concerning some-things; such as contrails. Indeed, it’s as if contrails are a tipping point - almost like the old `stepping stone’ idea about drug usage. Meaning - if you admit to even thinking about contrails; you have opened the pandora’s box to conspiracies and `the paranormal’. Many folks, no, most folks, have no interest in that slippery slope of beliefs.

As you might know, this coming Tuesday, Oct. 14th - is the latest popularized date for when `the aliens’ are going to `show themselves to the world’ - and indeed - we’ve already had `fun’ in this blog in September  with the whole concept of aliens picking one person to tell this event to - to spread to the world via the internet and news. Then, just yesterday, we took a slightly different approach on our UFO blog with our post - http://ufodisclosurecountdownclock.blogspot.com/2008/10/oct-14th-would-peaceful-aliens-pick.html - in which we said that because of the general world FEAR right now - do to real concern about the financial system of the whole world - that any aliens that would show up in such an announcement display - would NOT be peaceful aliens with our interests in mind — but could be NON peaceful aliens wishing to de-stabilize our world power structure - considering the havoc such a showing at a time of great fear would induce.

But, today, with mere hours to go - THS (The Heavy Stuff) would like to provide a speculative scenario for UFO buffs if it DID OCCUR. But, even before that - we’d like to speculate that if a craft did indeed stay in the skies for 72 continuous hours beginning on Tuesday - that the main `conspiracy idea’ will be the first peddled out by our media. The `conspiracy model’ would be that the image is a hologram projection from satellites by some unknown group of humans. And that it ISN’T  a real alien spacecraft.

NO, disclosure will NOT come as easy as `alien craft’ sitting in our skies. The above will be presented as a more reasonable possibility than alien life. Regardless if the public `believes’ it or not. So, EXPECT this to be trotted out on an EQUAL level - so that certainty doesn’t exist as to what actually happened. (This is assuming that `the aliens’ vanish or leave after three days.)

But, could there be something else - some other explanation? Something far more esoteric than the media ever refers to as real?

Indeed, just recently, MUFON in Kentucky labeled a particular event as being `more spiritual’ than real. You see, it seems a man in KY. has been able to `see’ or `call’ `lights in the sky’ for others to see. Our point is this - somehow, this mans collective beliefs are able to materialize in the sky ‘ as lights’ and as something that could be said to resemble (at times) a UFO. So, is it really such a stretch to believe that `many folks’ are going to go to bed in a matter of hours and of those that are `tuned’ into this `expectation form’ (of a spaceship hanging in the skies) `could literally DREAM INTO BEING such an event.

Many of you have heard the old esoteric tale that it only takes a handful - perhaps a dozen or two dozen people - to influence the cosmos in some manner. Indeed, this `expectation form’  - of the ship coming on a certain date to a specific location - is already in the minds of thousands. Some who deeply believe it - or - who want to believe it.

And, indeed, IF such a collective dream BEGAN - literally - as a display in the skies over Alabama - and IF it was covered by the news — as more folks went to sleep - knowing it had ALREADY HAPPENED - the dreams of such could become stronger. Extending the apparition in the skies with new dreamers. And, this would be continuous as folks go to sleep every minute throughout the whole world - the display could be `ongoing’ day and night. Literally, a real dream event.

Until - the dream fades away. And the prediction for the next event becomes true in the same manner. And we humans become less certain than ever about our real world.

As you may know, the last two posts on The Heavy Stuff (THS) called `Pending Economic Collapse’ and `Economic Collapse Brinkmanship’ have been following the United States attempt to `fix’ the very structure of the world economic structure - via the lowest rated congress in the history of polling. And, as you know, - yesterday they passed legislation that was signed within 50 minutes by President Bush of our executive branch. (The legalness of all of the details to be figured out at a later time.)

Essentially however, unprecedented power has been granted to the Dept. of Treasury and the Federal Reserve to use taxpayers money to bail out part of the money system - a move that came after unprecedented fear put to the congress that another Great Depression was going to happen without the bill being signed. And, indeed, unprecedented money events happening in the U.S.A. and worldwide may have indeed been precursors to a coming crash.

And, the moment the legislation was passed - immediately - the stock market began to slide downwards; significantly. Some calling that the worst possible signal and giving opponents of the legislation firepower in their arguments that the bill was either `too little too late’ or `not addressing the real problem; credit’. Indeed, as the day wore onward, word that Iceland - the country -  was about to default via it’s three largest banks. Additionally, the news also contained the coming possibility that the U.S.A.’s largest populated state, California, may not have funds to pay even school teachers come November. The state of New York was also making similar noises - and, on CNN’s Lou Dobbs show - the populist element of the common folk being ripped off was the theme of the day (as it always is with the `independent’ Dobbs, most often appropriately).

So, it is not without reason that many, if not most folks, are STILL fearful - and - there is NO reason to think the world’s fear isn’t still rising about their own economic condition. And, as worry turns to fear and perhaps panic - the possibility that we are only beginning some economic world slide - seems more real than ever - perhaps. (How can one not feel that way when supporters of the bill still talked about recession AFTER their vote?)

Anyways, the plans the government has for such a scenario involve `control’ of food and fuel - and gold. AND includes at least several days of slowing building virtual panic. As Americans should have learned from now - it takes days for any coordinated effort of the government to `come together’ (R.I.P. John Lennon) - and we might all be `on our own’ for a few semi-terrifying days. Day’s spent eating all the Spam we have in our pantry - days that we will always remember as `the heavy stuff’.
