The Heavy Stuff

In the last couple of days I’ve been surfing the net, as usual, to find material for my daily AnomalyMan listing on Squidoo. One place I always check out is www.anomalist.com as it’s overall point of view closely matches mine when describing `anomalous’ links of dubious natures. And, it’s two of those links that I have today on my Squidoo webpage (March 27th date) that set off my brain concerning the phenomenology of the ontological structure.

One of the links (all links will be at the bottom of this post) had to do with a MUFON investigator and his recording of a very anomalous `light in the sky at night’ experience that he interprets as Ufo Orbs and their Mothership - and indeed, the link will have pictures that will convince you too that the image explanation could be justified. What’s shown is one brighter light with an apparent connection to another series of `lights’ (different light filters show a golden shaped `interior’ craft).

The other link goes to the story of a serious  gentleman who actively is seeking some answers to the Bigfoot In America saga. And again, this time too, a seeker of the unknown was rewarded with the very thing desired - this time in the form of a 7 foot terrifying `monster’ with a voice which had a bellow beyond belief - and told in a manner that leaves little doubt as to its temporal occurrence to the observer.

So, when I read each of these stories, nearly in order, it set off my brain. Immediately, thoughts like - could `everything’ that is a space — like a human, comb, grass, robin, world, star, atom, — everything — which has a space and has a mass - and that exists IN an ontological structure — everything LIKE that — has one unifing characteristic - it is knowable. VERY KNOWABLE. (Can be measured.)

Then, my mind continued to turn over. Could `everything’ that is UNKNOWN have a space too? A `space’ which can be `called’ to be what it needs to be? To be what it HAS TO BE? (Whatisnotabletontobeis) And, could such `spaces’ only happen (or nearly only happen) when expectations and intentionality’s are raised and/or focused? When the `expectations’ of the `observer’ could trigger the intentionality’s of the `unknown space’?

Hence, MUFON investigators will see Ufo’s. Hence, Bigfoot investigators will see Bigfoots. Hence, Ghost investigators will find Ghosts. And EVP investigators — well, I think you get the idea by now. It seems that the will of the intentionality’s is all that is needed for a Fortean event of an Unknown nature to occur. (Could it be that the `intentionality’s’ come from the unknown when a `possession’ occurs of a human? Does the Unknown have some specific `spooky’ nature to it? A nature different than the Known - which might be `positive’ in some overall balance?)

And, if spirits can be beckoned in this manner (from the unknown) and Ufo’s too can be `beckoned’ — might the `nature’ of these two experiences really be able to be grouped together? Does this justify all the `nutcases’ that claim its the devil who is the ufo’s? (And, of course, this does not rule out nut and bolt ufo’s from existing along with all of us human beings - on our side of reality - in the known - because they have space.) Could this be why Prophet Yahweh could call a `light’ into the sky?

And, really, aren’t scientific discoveries actually similar? A seeker of the unknown - `finds’ the information - that one was seeking as a scientist. Would the `Ufo’s’ and `Bigfoot’s’ BE - information? Information in the rawest form?

A Information or intelligence `representation’  which has expectations and intentionalities? And, could the transfer of those expectations bring a `space’ together with that information base - which might even be able to occur,  and `act’ for a `real temporal’ event. Being infused with `knowledge’ for a moment(s). Being the very display of the unknown.

As you might know, this coming Tuesday, Oct. 14th - is the latest popularized date for when `the aliens’ are going to `show themselves to the world’ - and indeed - we’ve already had `fun’ in this blog in September  with the whole concept of aliens picking one person to tell this event to - to spread to the world via the internet and news. Then, just yesterday, we took a slightly different approach on our UFO blog with our post - http://ufodisclosurecountdownclock.blogspot.com/2008/10/oct-14th-would-peaceful-aliens-pick.html - in which we said that because of the general world FEAR right now - do to real concern about the financial system of the whole world - that any aliens that would show up in such an announcement display - would NOT be peaceful aliens with our interests in mind — but could be NON peaceful aliens wishing to de-stabilize our world power structure - considering the havoc such a showing at a time of great fear would induce.

But, today, with mere hours to go - THS (The Heavy Stuff) would like to provide a speculative scenario for UFO buffs if it DID OCCUR. But, even before that - we’d like to speculate that if a craft did indeed stay in the skies for 72 continuous hours beginning on Tuesday - that the main `conspiracy idea’ will be the first peddled out by our media. The `conspiracy model’ would be that the image is a hologram projection from satellites by some unknown group of humans. And that it ISN’T  a real alien spacecraft.

NO, disclosure will NOT come as easy as `alien craft’ sitting in our skies. The above will be presented as a more reasonable possibility than alien life. Regardless if the public `believes’ it or not. So, EXPECT this to be trotted out on an EQUAL level - so that certainty doesn’t exist as to what actually happened. (This is assuming that `the aliens’ vanish or leave after three days.)

But, could there be something else - some other explanation? Something far more esoteric than the media ever refers to as real?

Indeed, just recently, MUFON in Kentucky labeled a particular event as being `more spiritual’ than real. You see, it seems a man in KY. has been able to `see’ or `call’ `lights in the sky’ for others to see. Our point is this - somehow, this mans collective beliefs are able to materialize in the sky ‘ as lights’ and as something that could be said to resemble (at times) a UFO. So, is it really such a stretch to believe that `many folks’ are going to go to bed in a matter of hours and of those that are `tuned’ into this `expectation form’ (of a spaceship hanging in the skies) `could literally DREAM INTO BEING such an event.

Many of you have heard the old esoteric tale that it only takes a handful - perhaps a dozen or two dozen people - to influence the cosmos in some manner. Indeed, this `expectation form’  - of the ship coming on a certain date to a specific location - is already in the minds of thousands. Some who deeply believe it - or - who want to believe it.

And, indeed, IF such a collective dream BEGAN - literally - as a display in the skies over Alabama - and IF it was covered by the news — as more folks went to sleep - knowing it had ALREADY HAPPENED - the dreams of such could become stronger. Extending the apparition in the skies with new dreamers. And, this would be continuous as folks go to sleep every minute throughout the whole world - the display could be `ongoing’ day and night. Literally, a real dream event.

Until - the dream fades away. And the prediction for the next event becomes true in the same manner. And we humans become less certain than ever about our real world.

One of The Heavy Stuff’s (THS) favorite books ever was written by P.D. Ouspensky called `In Search Of The Miraculous’ — it’s an amazing book by an amazing thinker. The highlight of the book is when the `miraculous’ happened the first time to Ouspensky; indeed, the words he wrote were “and then the miracle happened” (perhaps a future post will be about Ouspensky) — in this case it was more than a eureka moment or particular thought for Ouspensky - it was a physical, ontological, event. For most folks in the USA it would be the internet - be the subject matter science, religion or `the esoteric’. And, today’s post will deal mostly with `the esoteric’ - no surprise there, right? 10th - Professor Hex http://professorhex.blogspot.com/ The Scholar of the Strange and Mysterious — THS comment> Currently the Professors page has probably 100 links back to June 20th or so - a month of esoteric posts with his sharp comments about the links he provides. Great selection of links. Good range of content. HUGE, HUGE ARCHIVE - this is not a new site. Here’s an example link and description — A coded letter sent last year to the Fermi National Accelerator Laboratory in Illinois has the lab, and outside coders stumped. The letter was sent anonymously last March in a hand-addressed envelope via regular mail to the physics lab’s public affairs office.  Yep, cool links — oh, and did I say it has a HUGE blogroll of cool sites. This site features a more political focus than many and very few UFO type stories. The site has GREAT pictures (20 on site today) of an esoteric focus. ALL kinds of links - but limited to one line descriptions - site has about 200 links and updates frequently to daily. Listen folks, it’s a great site with over 200 links of esoteric material from just the last 60 days. This webpage features lots of ufo links, posts from this blog, and the very hottest stories breaking in anomalies. With links to more varied content than nearly any on this listing - including similar sister sites on Squidoo. - such as www.squidoo.com/theheavystuff- which lists every posting from this blog in one easy to read spot. Squidoo has over 600,000 pages — as of today - this page is in the top 1,000 ——– speaks for itself. 6. The Debris Field http://thedebrisfield.blogspot.comTHS Comment > To THS this website is the number one for UFO’s and current ufo info - often you can find 20 links a day and most are about ufo’s. Leslie, the editor, also is a writer on various blogs and highlights her daily writings and life too on this blog. The blog has many pictures and more of a `female’ tone to it. THS really likes the black background of the page too. Overall, the page has a weeks worth of diverse links numbering over 100. Leslie picks up posts from this blog, and THS gets many hits from the archive - which you won’t want to miss. Less commentary than some - but lots of links. 5.  Phantoms and Monsters – http://naturalplane.blogspot.com  - THS Comment > The cool thing about this generally esoteric site is that is that it occasionally has `exclusive’ type content of a highly unusal nature that is mailed to the website. Such as a link there now about a fisherman who saw an entity next to his boat on July 21st. Lon, the editor, picks just a FEW stories a day to feature and many video’s are in the mix and playable from his site - a fun feature not found on many similar content sites. Great blogroll and over 2 years of archived material easily available.

Fark -  http://www.fark.com/  THS Comment > This search for the wondrous is 20 links a day, described with humor and attitude, grouped into categories - such as asinine, amusing, cool and so forth. And, while you won’t find much of a esoteric nature, you will find lots that is wondrous and beyond belief. The strange newspaper things you find once a week in your hometown paper are featured here for everyday consumption.

3. Reality Carnival - www.realitycarnival.comTHS Comment  > This is Clifford Pickovers one GREAT link a day site - with the most selective list of alltime material found on the net. Such as this recent gem http://www.artgarfunkel.com/library.html – yes, this is a list of every book read by Art Garfunkel in the past 40 years — almost every link is this heavy. Lots of focus on numbers, science, math, and consciousness. NUMBER one thinking website on the whole internet.

The Daily Grail - http://dailygrail.com/ THS comment > From the other side of our planet (Aussies run this) comes this absolute gem of a website with up to 20 daily described links  - similar to Fark meets the Anomalist.com — described links, written intelligently. Almost all the sites listed here could keep you busy for hours and this is no exception. Tons of daily links featuring a UFO section and a weird, esoteric section with inspired esoteric writers found no where else. Sets the standard in  daily links which gets copied by many other sites. A supporter of this blogs posts (only number 4 above has never carried this blog). THE best books in the margin to check out. Carries a week of links that numbers over 150. Covers quantum mechanics to Bigfoot with equal measure - yet, often provides the skeptical viewpoint too. The best balance of religion, science, and renegade thought on the internet. Has picked up where Fortean Times left off several years ago.
